Barefoot on rock
2023 — wait and hear group, initiated by Bart HM Vandeput and Jan Christian Schulz
Take off your shoes, stand barefoot on a rock, and attune to the place you are in to connect with the ground beneath your feet. Instead of hitting the ground running, you are invited to slow down and take a moment to breathe and connect to the place you are in.

Depending on the weather, the ground might be wet or cold. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and bring a towel or blanket to stand on if needed.
Find a spot, possibly on a rock, preferably alone.
Walk there in silence, then take off your shoes.
Take a minute or two in which you shake your body to attune to the place.
Try to settle into a quite and relaxing rhythm of breathing and moving your body.
Stand barefoot for 5-10 minutes, breathing and moving your body.
You may have your eyes open or closed, whatever feels comfortable to you.
When you feel ready, put your shoes back on and walk back to where you started.
